One of the most striking figures of the golden age of the nightclub was the Australian duo of Archie and Diane Bennett.
The combination of dance, acrobatics and contortion extreme difficilment reached similar levels, making their number one of the most prestigious attractions of the '60s and '70s. Archie Bennett was initiated by the young master to contortion Ted Ardini, after seven years as a soloist, he joined his sister Diane. Led by legendary Tibor Rueda (one of the legendary masters of the dance edell'acrobazia, before becoming manager of the "TreTenori"), it took 11 years to create their performance without equal. The
Bennett triumphed everywhere: from the Lido in Paris at the Tropicana in Las Vegas, the Savoy in London, the fabulous Casino in Beirut. At the peak of their careers, in the early '70s enter the world of the circus thanks to Liana Orfei, which leads them on tour in Italy in a long tour of its Circorama.
